Step one done...
Yep, so last weekend I got a few more art supplies along with something really cool... While I was sitting around I was trying to think up something that people would like and something that I could put my pictures in for sales that would look more professional. I do not have money for matte board and I do not have money for the supplies to shrink wrap... So I thought, okay, what if I sold my pictures in picture frames? Would that be cool and presentable?
Then I got an even better idea... I have an infatuation with things that are old and rustic, but still have a charming air to them, so I decided that (with my wallet in mind) I could go to my local thrift shop, find some old brass/silver picture frames for like what... A dollar a piece? Shine them up, make pieces to accent the frames and viola! Well presented pieces of art that I can put up for sale at reasonable prices.
I was exactly right. Josh took me to the thrift shop and I found a handful of just what I had envisioned Old tinny picture frames for a dollar a piece. Now comes the most important part... Making art to fill them.
When I have them completed I will upload the finished products for all to see... But until then you'll just have to keep on your toes. And same goes for me.
