Socks and Pantyhose

 I probably have way to many pairs of socks and pantyhose...

     But who really cares anyway... Even if I do live in Florida and it's too hot for either more than most of the time... When it does finally cool down, and the time is drawing near, I will be the first to know. And I shall dawn my socks and venture out!

     Seriously though, people underestimate the fashion potential of these little accessories. I feel like socks and panty hose are a huge staple in fall/winter looks not to mention how vastly important they are to lolita fashion. Don't get me started on lolita. I also managed to procure two news pairs last weekend during my birthday outing... And so I add to the hosiery madness...

These are my above the knee socks, the first pair are new. The second pair I usually use for school girl themed outfits although I am in dire need of sock glue. The third pair are some of my favorites, very warm and the pattern is perfect for fall.

Here we have some socks that are on the shorter side. The first pair are my witch socks... Remember that scene on The Wizard of Oz when the witch gets crushed by Dorothy's house and her feet shrivel up? They second pair I usually reserve for winter as they are very plush and cozy. The third pair are some very cute socks that I got from Target. The picture doesn't do them justice, but they are cuffed and have a very delicately sewn hem. I also used to hair a pair exactly like these that are black... But they have disappeared. -_-

These are my knee high socks! The first pair is one of the two new pairs I got for my birthday. This pair is very sweet and has a floral pattern on the sides. The second pair are very trouser socks, very light and cool. The third pair are my other winter socks. These socks are very warm and the pattern is great for fall.

I only have two favorite pairs of panty hose, so I just put another pair of socks with this group. The first picture is of a pair of pantyhose that I have. This pair is very sheer and has small flesh colored dots sewn in. The second pair are thigh high hose and they have embroidered ribs. The third pair are another pair of winter socks, they are very warm and are a nice light tan. These socks also have strands of golden thread woven through the material!
