Halloween Decor

image
I wish I could go all out with decorations...

But I can't, because I'm too poor for that... But I did manage to place a few little touches around my house and outside!

These are some of the outside decorations! Just two festive yard stakes and a spooky window decal! I even though about sticking some of these on the van...

Some apples that need to be thrown out... Can't you make hot apple cider with over ripe apples? Hmm... Some candy for Josh. He loves the Gummy Krabby Patties and Starburst. That skull is something that I found in the woods. Naturally I took it home, bleached it and painted it sugar skull style. It's nice that we already have a few creepy elements throughout the house here and there.

These are some more of the window decals that I got! Josh though that the spider one was real... Needless to say he was pretty spooked.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies/Dawn of the Dreadfuls are two books based on the original novel series written by Jane Austin; but with zombies. I have a summer squash that Joshua acquired from a co-worker. That is a pumpkin scented candle and those are cheap little glitter skulls. The lower right hand image is of a nightlight with a spooky image on the front. The light oscillates between different colors!

And now for the grand finale, we turn off the lights!

Sparkle Skulls in the Candlelight

I decked our book shelf out with some haunting orange lights... Yes that is a portrait of Jesus. As for the married couple they are strangers.

I draped these green lights over top of our bar, placing them inside of my green Jack O'Lantern and wrapping them around some empty liquor bottles that we have. The photo in the middle is of the nightlight in action!

Uhhg, I wish you could see these better! This is a photo of the front of my apartment. I put some purple lights in the windows and I was hoping that I could get a nice charming spooktacualr picture of the house, but my camera can't pick up light that is too dim apparently.

In any case, I am ready for Halloween!
