Christmas Pins

And no, I am not talking about Pintrest

I am talking about literal, Christmas Pins. 

You know, broaches. I got these as a gift from my fabulous Aunt Linda. Apparently they belonged to my Grandma March. She probably just bought them from the Goodwill rummage bin, but they are more precious to me that you could imagine. Who knows, they might even be worth something someday? Or not. I'm not going to bother checking.

They may be totally phogey and old fashion, but I think that they are great... Blue and silver is always easy for me to do. However, I am stepping out of my comfort zone, and I am going to try working some black and golden tones. I always associate black and gold with... I don't know... Disco, or something weird like that. However, I think that black and gold can be used in great Christmas looks as a traditional, royale sort of theme.
