I am definitely no pissed off God of war, but yeah, I get irritated pretty fast. It's really something I should work on. I just feel so entitled to my anger. When something gets me riled up, I just can't help but be pissed off and heated about it.

BACK WITH A VENGENCE

I threw this cutie outfit together for a Lis and Josh date night last weekend. Rockin' a messy bun, my golden emblem tiger shirt, my black side-zipper jeggings and my black faux-leather roman sandles!

You may also notice that I don't have earlobe jewelry in? Well, if you know about stretched lobes, you probably already called my folly. I am wearing clear, silicone ear skins. I love them. I also gauged my ears up! I am now at 5/8's of an inch! 

Josh says that I have to stay at that size. v-v

I don't care though, now I can stock up on kawaii ear jewelry!

I am also taking a *fakie septum ring for a test run. Once I get a little money set aside for the actual piercing I will go and get the real deal, can't wait! I am ready to move on and take out my cute little spider bites.

I think that I am really young and that I also have a lot of growing up to do. But since the goddess for this particular question is Aphrodite, I kind of feel like this is aimed towards what I think of my physical self... Well, I am sure you guys know (if you have been reading my blog) that I am think that I am a skinny-acne baby. I will be so glad when I fill out and this crap goes away. I am not a model by any means, but I am blessed with what I have!

what are you going to do with it?

I only have a little bit of life on my record, honestly. So I don't think that I have done that much. I got my GED so that I could work. I guess that counts for something. I am in a good relationship with my lover, which is really awesome. I also am working a new job that I love and that has really good opportunities to go along with it, assuming that it all works out. I want to have a stable, happy life, making art and making happiness with Joshua. That is all.

epsom salt treatment

today i'm gonna talk about the wonder that is epsom salt.

I found out about Epsom Salts for the treatment of everyone's favorite pesky skin disorder through... THE INTERNET! I made myself a little concoction and am happy to say that coupled with Epsom Salt bath soaks, my skin has calmed down considerably. Therefore, I am sharing my creation process with those of you that are out there so that you too can find out if Epsom Salts can help your skin as well.

First, I began by boiling down equal parts Espom Salts and water. I also added a tiny bit of my favorite scented bath soaking salts from Bath And Body Works for the smell and for a better salty feel. Epsom Salts alone do not really taste salty at all!

Beforehand, I prepared a small spray bottle. After that I poured about a teaspoon and a half of tea tree oil into my bottle. I like Tea Tree Oil because of it's salicylic acid content and Josh also loves how it smells.

After the Tea Tree Oil, I poured in about half of a tablespoon of Hemp Seed Oil. I did this because Espom Salts can be very drying, so you really need some extra moisturizer when you are using the stuff.

Here is my finished product! Obviously because you have oils, water and salt in a bottle together the natural separation process is going to occur. Give them a hearty shake and you can spritz this all over your affected areas! Just make sure that you do not get this in your eye. Tea Tree Oil burns when it comes into contact with your eyes.

i got a pant suit!

I have been wanting to get myself a pant suit for ages now and I finally managed to score one from my local Ross. This pant suit is fashionable, cool and it looks like a "baby clown suit" or something like that.

Paired with my favorite glittery-gold flats, this outfit really does say something along the lines of "Hey, I am a disco queen."

I have also been wearing my hair pulled like this a lot more often here lately! It's cute, quick, easy and keep my headaches at bay. It also keeps the back of my hair from going way flat.

Some of these questions are so far out. No, no I do not consider myself powerful at all. Smart? Maybe. Conscientious? Sure. Powerful? That is a definite no, no.

uhg, I am so shiny in this post.

Like I said, I am going to be making quite a few posts with looks that I will be wearing to work, so this is one of those. 

It's really fun to re-style other pieces that I have that I would not necessarily thought of as being work clothes. And I love this necklace, it has tiny yellowish gems surrounding it with some type of brown crystal mass in the center.

Honestly, I wish that I had a new camera. I also don't wear a bolero with this dress unless I am wearing it to work because it is a spaghetti strap. I got it from a Ross and it is way cute.

That is a size small children's belt that I re-purposed into a skinny belt that I use to accentuate my waist.

I wore a small ring to work that day... It is has a completely black (fake) jewel. You can't tell, but on either side of the jewel there is a small heart, so it matches the dress pattern!. Again, it makes me think back to LOTR. Doesn't it just look like it could be an artifact of Mordor?

odin: what is your family like?

My family... I have a lot of family, extended and blood. I have a great love for all of my family. Although there have been many (many *sigh) disagreements between some of us, we always manage to put the pieces back together. I haven't talked to my sister for a really long time now, though. We haven't been getting along... Then again, this isn't the first time that I have gone a long time without speaking to her though. My Mom has a chronic illness that effects her nervous system, so that's something for Joshua and I to think about in the long run. My Dad is just a simple, cool guy that suffers from lifelong hardship pretty much... Josh is my life and family as well, of course. That being said, I get a mother in law and a little sister in law that I love sooo much. I also get a Doug, which is Joshua's ex-step father.

I don't pull tricks on people. The most exciting thing that I do that may even be close to pulling a trick is when I hide behind corners and scare the bejesus out of Joshua.

I already had my owl tank top that you see here, but the cardigan and the skirt are a new addition! I also have a new pair of way fresh wedges.

Here is another pair of handmade-gauge-hiders. They work perfectly for shielding my not so work appropriate lifestyle choices.

here is my first work outfit!

Remember how I said that I went shopping for my new receptionist job? Here is one of my new outfit coordinates!

Even thought it is technically supposed to be business casual in our office, we can all get away with wearing really cute outfits. I am talking high heels, flowy blouses and cute summer dresses.

I love this new shirt so much, the floral print is so delicate.

I don't have to wear my lip rings at work because I have had them long enough that they won't seal up one bit. I can leave them out for eight hours straight and it's cool. I made the earrings so that I can cover up my gauges. It's true that people in the world of business will not take you seriously if they are visible... Or at least I think so.

Here are my super cute new flats. The are like bedroom slippers with righteous buckles on them.

so sorry that I missed a post last friday.

But I have some fantastic news. You are now reading articles written by the new temp to hire receptionist through Remedy Intelligent Staffing with Keefe Supply Group! Oh yes, go figures that I job search for a month on my own and as soon as I apply with a staffing agency, I am just handed a great position, with a great company, surrounded by helpful, sweet and supportive coworkers. I could not have asked for a better position. I am starting out at $10.00 an hour with bank hours from 8 - 5. No weekends either. Bye bye Coach warehouse, hello new and exciting receptionist opportunities.

Along with all of that, I have new fashion related news.
Since the office that I am working at is mandatory business casual (aside from casual days), I have acquired quite a few new pieces for my wardrobe that I will be sharing for the next few looks, so keep watching out!
