Crystal Nails

You all know how into my nails that I am...

So you will understand how tragic it must be for me to actually break a nail. Which happened a while back (much to my horror) and caused me to have to trim my beautiful, stiletto nails to nubs. However, I took advantage of the situation and painted them a pretty crystal-inspired style. I found the invention of crystal nails on xovain, as well as on a few minor sources.

Basically, all crystal nails are nails that have been painted in a way that is somewhat inspired by the gorgeous natural gems that mother Earth produces.

This nail art is special you see, because I made the base color with some eyeshadow and clear nail polish. Another tutorial that I also found on xovain. I know this was also supposed to be solely crystal nails, but I can't help sprucing them up with some black, geometric patterns. I finished off with an awesome chunky-glitter coat.
