Osiris: Do you believe in the underworld?

I hope that my family doesn't read this. This will probably be one of the first times in my blog that I actually state what I believe in as far as religion goes.

As far as the underworld goes, no I do not believe in the underworld, nor do I believe in hell. But honestly, I don't really believe in heaven anymore either. As far as death goes I have a few theories that make much more sense and give me much more peace than the Christian Baptist beliefs that I was brought up with.

Theory#1
Since everything is made up of energy and somehow (aliens) our species was granted the gift of consciousness, I figure that when we die that energy is recycled back into the consciousness grid  in one grand burst of ecstasy. This theory makes me sad to think that I will not experience eternal bliss and that evil people will not be punished further for their wrongdoing. However, I do not really think that I am that special that some all knowing god loves me. And plus, humans kind of created evil on their own, so in a way it doesn't exist. Evil only exists to people, animals don't known anything about conscious evil.

Theory#2
I like this theory better, even if I feel that it doesn't make as much sense as the prior theory. If this theory is true then when we die we will experience some sort of heaven or hell in a higher dimension. I do believe in dimensions, so this theory could also be very true. Basically, there are dimensions existing and when a body dies the soul travels to a higher dimension. Kind hearted, peaceful people will experience a reality in said dimension that reflects their soul in a positive light. Whereas, people that are evil/hateful will experience a self made tormentous dimension.
