Look#30

spring is here

So I put a look together to finally bust up the warm/cozy coordinates. First of all, a few weekends back I purchased some seriously springtime-friendly nail polish shades.
Here is my lovely color Hyponautical. After I painted my toes this color (I really need to do my nails, still recovering from yellow tones), I realized how much it made me feel like a mermaid. The name is appropriate.
I gave it a solid three coats on my toes (after my base coat, of course) and I decided that the next time that I try this glitter, I will be using a darker color on top of the base coat, but underneath glitter coat. That way, I can avoid the color looking so green, rather than teal.
Needless to say, I took some inspiration from sea goddesses. For me, that means ocean themed jewelry, plenty of rings and vintage lace.
Lucky for me, my jellyfish fits this look to a T.
I paired some bi-color glass pearls with a DIY necklace that I made from repurposed beads and a bronze octopus locket that I got from the craft store Michael's. I am also rocking some Malachite gauges.
